Since my childhood, I’ve heard stories of people making it
big based of incredible and seemingly simple inventions. For myself, I have never been a part
of a project that has involved entrepreneurship, however my family has always
had the idea to create an ingenious idea to earn money. One of the ideas was creating
a project for babies and toddlers. This project was a universal product for
this age group and involved the idea of socks that had animals or other fun
creatures on the socks. In essence it was supposed to generate interest in new
parents to show off their kid’s fashion in a fun and goofy way.
As for why I am in this class, I enrolled in this course to better understand how
to make my ideas into reality to help other people throughout the world. I hope
to get out of this class is a better understanding of what the process is from
start to finish of a project and how to develop it and gain funding to create the
project.

Hello Austin,
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that your family’s idea about such a peculiar product do sound interesting, but I wish you would have shared a little bit more about it to know what they have done in order to make these ideas come true. On my behalf I can tell you that the idea seems to be interesting because fathers do love to dress their kids in a fun and colorful way, and we all know kids love animals and little things like that which can grab their attention. Finally, I agree that one of the things more interesting about this class is trying to understand how to better think about opportunities that can use to create a business of our own, and also how we can build this business from the start. Good job!
Sincerely,
Javier Felis Perez
Hey Austin,
ReplyDeleteI've seen similar versions of the animal socks you were describing and they always seem popular and cute. I wish you would have described the design and entrepreneurship aspect behind the product in more detail. It's so great that you want to use your ideas to help other people in this world, as that is the simplest basis of entrepreneurship.
